"Safeguarding" destroys thousands of innocent people's lives across Great Britain and Northern Ireland. It's time that it was made history. The Police and Social Services fail to protect those that need protecting and then massage their statistics by attempting to rip families apart for as little as simply not welcoming Social Services involvement.
What Is This About?
A Freedom of Information Act Request lets everybody find information from Local Authorities, with some exceptions. It is a vital tool in a democracy.
We are conducting a Freedom of Information Act Request to all Local Authorities (Councils) in Great Britain and Northern Ireland. This includes Local Authorities in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
A failure to cooperate by Local Authorities will draw an adverse inference, just like the Police. Where we get results, they will be published on this page. Please find the questions below. Please Click (or Tap) The Questions to Expand Them.

3) Of those figures in 1.1 – 1.3 and 2.1 – 2.11, please break these down by the type of safeguarding allegation i.e. physical, psychological, sexual and any other type of abuse that you categorise for these purposes (“the type of abuse allegation”).
4) Of those figures in 1.1 – 1.3 and 1.2.1 – 1.2.11, how many safeguarding allegations have been found to be substantiated (broken down by figures in 1.1 – 1.3 and 1.2.1 – 1.2.11 and by the type of abuse allegation);

4.2) How many safeguarding allegations did your local authority refer to the Police before they were confirmed as substantiated (broken down by figures in 1.1 – 1.3 and 1.2.1 – 1.2.11 and by the type of abuse allegation)?
4.3) How many people have been removed from their homes as the result of safeguarding allegations (broken down by 1.1 – 1.3, by the type of abuse allegation and by unsubstantiated, substantiated and malicious allegation conclusions)?
4.4) Of those safeguarding allegations that have been found to be unfounded/unsubstantiated, how many safeguarding allegations have been concluded to be malicious (broken down by figures in 1.1 – 1.3 and 2.1 – 2.11 and by the type of abuse allegation);
5) How many Safeguarding allegations have been made to other Local Authorities by your Local Authority, where the subject of the safeguarding allegation either has moved or is believed to have moved to another Local Authority broken down by the type of abuse allegation?
6) Does the Local Authority have a process to protect people from the harm of malicious safeguarding allegations, if so, what is it, how often is it reviewed and who do you consult or please specify if you don’t have one.
The Police and Social Services clearly believe that those subjected to malicious and/or unfounded allegations are wholly expendable demonstrating that there is nothing even remotely "social" about them and that the Police are not policing by consent.
Loved ones removed "just in case" there is abuse with retrospective attempts by Social Services to justify their actions through copied and pasted reports, lies and fabricated "evidence", costly damage caused by the Police breaking in to people's homes at Social Services behest, public humiliation riding on "no smoke without fire" public attitudes and Courts operating in secret are just some of the tactics used. They are a damning indictment of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for outsiders looking in.
Please register your interest in volunteering on this project, including in helping to steer it, by using the “Register Interest” link in the menu above and by registering on our forum. Anyone employed, who volunteers or is otherwise associated in a “professional” capacity with the Police, Social Services or a Local Authority more widely is not welcome.
We also intend to run a free 24 hour, 7 day a week anonymous, peer-led emotional support telephone line soon.
Please let us know if you’d like to volunteer with this – either by answering calls or in the administration of the telephone line using the same contact form. Please also let us know if you’d like to help with the forum or would be interested in making a donation to our running costs.
Thank you for your interest.
